Quantity:
This geometric wind chime consists of two kite-shaped metal plates united perpendicularly by a slit in the middle. When placed on top of a glass container (2.5-3 in. diameter works best), the larger top piece acts as a wind-catcher, while the bottom piece counteracts as a weight, generating harmonic sounds as it strikes the edges. The direction and strength of the wind, combined with the variations in the composition of the glass, result in a variety of pleasing tones.
